If you live anywhere it gets warm, then you know how annoying it can be to be outside at times. You try to go to a park and sit on a bench, or go on a walk but keep getting bitten and bothered by something, what’s bothering you?
So the question on everyone’s mind is “ HOW CAN I KEEP MOSQUITOES AWAY FROM ME ?”

Another great way to keep mosquitoes away if your outside a lot or plan to be outside is to make your body oil with lavender in it. Add around
30 drops to 2 table spoons of vegetable oil such as olive oil. Then mix it together and apply it to areas of the skin that will be exposed while you’re out.
Mosquito Repellents around barbecues
An awesome way to create a natural mosquito repellent without having to burn any chemicals is to sprinkle Rosemary in your coals and on your food. By doing so the smoke will rise and make the smell more potent, making the mosquitoes go away. You can also do this in camp fires, before you light the fire throw some rosemary in it, the combination of the smoke and scent will make them leave.
Plants That Repel Mosquitoes
What most people don’t know is that there are many plants that can actually repel mosquitoes. If you place them in strategic spots around your house, especially in areas that you go in and out of a lot. Also in areas that you have open windows or doors, there are numerous ways that you can set this up.
The plants that work the best are citronella, catnip, lavender and feverfew. There are others but those are the most effective ones. You can also plant these around your flowerbeds and gardens to keep mosquitoes out of those areas.
Get Rid Of Standing Water
If you haven’t noticed before, anywhere near standing water is a ton of mosquitoes. The reason being is that they lay eggs in standing water. Getting rid of it can help to lower the number of mosquitoes in the vicinity. Make sure you go around the outside of your house to see if there are any puddles; if so get rid of them.
All Natural Ways to Help Relieve Itchy Mosquito Bites.
It’s known that you shouldn’t scratch your mosquito bites because it can cause further infections. Scratching increases inflammation and itch, especially if you have dirty nails. Some bites can turn into scars if the inflammation is bad enough, this why you need to find all natural ways to help ellviate the itch.
Here are a few ways to help you out without using any chemicals
Take an ice cube and a towel and wrap the bite with the cube. You can also simply rub the ice cube on the bite, this will help to lessen the itch and lower the swelling and pain.
2. Lavender and Vinegar
You can simply put either on the bite and rub it in really well, this will help to stop the itch and the pain, and It will also help to clean and cure the affected area. You can also take 2 to 3 cups of vinegar and around 30 drops of lavender and put it into a tub of warm water. Sit in the tub for about 5-10 minutes and let it soak into your skin.
Honey has a bunch of medicinal benefits and it’s also been used for thousands of years for its antibacterial properties. You can take a small amount of honey and rub it on the affected area, this will help to clean the wound and take away the itching.
